Rwanda

Rwanda is a small landlocked country in the Great Lakes of east-central Africa. It is bordered by Uganda, Burundi, the Democratic Republic of the Congo and Tanzania. It comprises fertile and hilly terrain, which gives it the title "Land of a Thousand Hills"
Since the attempted genocide by the Tutsi tribe in 1994, much of Rwanda has been rebuilt, the economy resurrected and tourists can travel around much more safely these days. In addition to seeing the mountain gorillas in Rwanda, you can also see the primates in the forest of Nyungwe renowned for groups of colobus monkeys and chimpanzees
