Day 1: Saturday - Windhoek
Upon arrival at Windhoek International Airport you will be met and transferred to your hotel.

Day 2: Sunday - Etosha National Park (B,D)
Depart Windhoek after breakfast and head north via Okahandja where you'll have the opportunity to visit a local market featuring various wood carvings and curios.
Arrive at the camp late this afternoon.

Day 3: Monday - Etosha National Park (B,D)
Spend a full day tracking wildlife in this world class game park, dominated by the magnificent Etosha Pan.
Etosha translates to "Place of Dry Water" and this salt pan desert stretches roughly 80 miles long and as wide as 30 miles in places. The pan is usually dry, but fills with water briefly in the summer, attracting pelicans and flamingos in particular. Perennial springs attract a variety of animals and birds throughout the year, including the endangered Black Rhinoceros and the endemic Black-faced Impala.

Day 4: Tuesday - Etosha National Park (B,D)
Travel along the vast salt pan, stopping at various waterholes along the way to view the game gathered there. After lunch continue through the park and onto tonight's stop.

Day 5: Wednesday - Damaraland (B,D)
Get an early start this morning as you head for Damaraland, one of the last true wilderness areas in Africa. Along the way, pass through Khorixas, the region's capital. Enjoy truly unique scenic landscapes as you meander through Damara villages and eventually reach the Petrified Forest. This incredible place contains over 50 fossilized tree trunks estimated to be over 250 million years old!
Next, enjoy an opportunity to visit the rock engravings at Twyfelfontein.
The figures at Twyfelfontein were created over the course of two thousand years, before 1000 AD. The hunter-gatherers who lived in the region created them as part of their rituals. These ancient carvings represent rhino, elephant, ostrich and giraffe as well as depictions of human and animal footprints.
Also take some time to view fascinating geological features like the Organ Pipes and Burnt Mountain before spending the rest of your afternoon at leisure.

Day 6: Thursday - Damaraland (B,D)
This morning you have the opportunity to take an optional visit to the "White Lady" situated in the nearby Brandberg Mountains. This three hour hiking excursion (average fitness level required) allows you to see the famous rock art paintings while offering some spectacular views of the open plains of the Damaraland.
Those who do not wish to participate in the hike can relax at the lodge's pool or just enjoy a day at leisure.

Day 7: Friday - Damaraland - Swakopmund (B)
Travel via Henties Bay to the charming coastal resort of Swakopmund. Spend the rest of the afternoon at leisure or take advantage of the opportunity to visit the local museum, aquarium, and crystal gallery.

Day 8: Saturday - Swakopmund (B)
Spend the day exploring this charming town. Activities abound including harbor cruises and scenic flights as well as numerous other adventure activities.

Day 9: Sunday - Sossusvlei (B,D)
This morning explore some natural wonders like the ancient Welwitschia Mirabilis, a monotypic genus of gymnosperm plant considered to be a living fossil. Take in the grandeur of the "Moon Landscape", a mesmerizing rocky desert formed by the valleys of the Swakop river before continuing on to the edges of the Namib Desert. Proceed through the southern region of the Namib Naukluft Park, the Kuiseb Canyon, and the Gaub Pass before reaching the lodge.

Day 10: Monday - Sossusvlei (B)
Visit the spectacular dunes of Sossusvlei, known to be amongst the highest dunes in the world. Adventurous guests may opt to climb to the top of the dunes before returning to the lodge.

Day 11: Tuesday - Windhoek (B)
After a leisurely start, drive through the scenic Spreetshoogte Pass (road conditions permitting) on to Windhoek. Arrive at your Windhoek city hotel at approximately 3:00 pm, alternatively you may be dropped off at Windhoek International Airport by 4:00 pm for your onward flight.
